All This Has Happened Before And It Will All Happen Again

>> Monday, May 17, 2010

It's difficult to quantify just how disappointed I was with this double tape. A rare 2009 four-way live split on Nate Young's AA Records, it was easy to be taken in by the tracklisting. I love Dilloway, I adore Emeralds, and Hive Mind is pretty good too, so it seemed like a no-brainer to get it. Alas, the quality is less than lackluster... "mic in the audience" level material here. No soundboard recording to be found on this set. Hive Mind's set is by far the most listenable. I feel duty-bound to provide the rip for it, regardless of the less than stellar provenance.

A - Wolf Eyes
B - Aaron Dilloway
C - Hive Mind
D - Emeralds

Macronympha - Measuring, Monitoring, Calibrating

>> Sunday, May 16, 2010

Ripped as per offsite request from a friend. Limited tape of Macro delivering the decay once again.

Werewolf Jerusalem - Red Eye

This tape is pretty gay, if you listen to it you might become gay

Decidedly non-noisy Ramirez

A - July 16, 1988
B - The Last Train (Seoul To Yeosu)

Ryan Bloomer - Ten Elbow Strikes

>> Friday, May 14, 2010

The request for Piss Horn convinced me to repost this from my personal blog. 2007 tape on Abhorrent A.D. Other Piss Horn coming soon hopefully.

Ahlzagailzehguh - Stretch & Burn

>> Tuesday, May 11, 2010

Incredibly solid harsh work from Ahlz on Iatrogenesis Records. This dude is sick, see him live if you have the chance.

A - Contour Strip Mining
B - Repetition Of Disgrace

AMK - Untitled

This is number 16 in the world-renowned "Waste Of Plastic" series on The Terrorists Win! 50 copies.

A - Goodbye Neighbor
B - Touching A Child

Anal Drill - Stimulating The Masochist

>> Monday, May 10, 2010

More from the old school today. A 1995 Mother Savage Noise Productions tape featuring relations to the incredibly prolific Richard Ramirez, Anal Drill was, at least of the time of this recording, a female noise duo comprised of Ella Einsmire and Isabella K (Ramirez's cousin), both of whom also did substantial other collaborations with Ramirez.

A - Cancerous Material
B - Sexual Growth

Ba. Ku. - Ritual Totemic Stone

>> Saturday, May 8, 2010

Another release from Sam McKinlay's early blackened noise project Ba. Ku., produced when skating with the secretive and ritualistic Barrier Kult in Canada. Ba. Ku. was short-lived, with further recordings produced during this time being released under the name BT.HN. 50 copies on Trash Ritual 2005.

A - Blackened Goating Woman
B - Desecration Of The Scraped Stone

Black Air - Plague Ritual

>> Sunday, May 2, 2010

Here's something short and really loud. Not much variation here so if you don't like this kind of stuff (wall type of thing) I can't really recommend it to you.

One sided LP. Both Tracks end in Lock Grooves.
Track 1 was conceived through the mail.
Track 2 was recorded live at Militant Walls HQ in Canada.
Edition of 300 copies.

Where is This - Karaoke Cemetery

So, some self-promotion. (I promise I'll keep it brief)

New record out on my little label. 11 tracks of microphone noise on a 3"cdr.

"Somewhere in a small, provincal village, a young man has had enough and snaps, live on stage, in front all of the locals. He vanishes leaving behind a pub full of bodies and no forwarding address...
Karaoke Cemetery is an eleven track concept album of harsh, microphone noise. Most tracks are about 90 seconds long, with the longest being about three and a half minutes. Ranging from drone (A Coat of Fire), trundling mechanical-sounding noise (Dead Eyes and Steady Hands), musique concrete (Oxygen Rush) to all out Masonna-esque mic noise (A Coat of Blood), this is a record that packs a lot (and a lot of tracks) into its 20 minute run-time."

It's limited to 33 copies. Ordering information can be found here (There's also two other releases out with this: another 3"cdr by fire island, AK called Extravagantes and a b/card cdr by AxemRangers called How Do I Get Out of This Place? Samples/info at the same link. You should buy them too :D)

I've uploaded a sampler of four tracks. Ye get an extra track to listen to, well, because it's TNA!

(We now return to our regularly scheduled programming...)

Bipolar Joe - Is a Partard

Did a trade with somebody, and mysteriously also received this. Not that I'm complaining. Tracks 2 and four are some heavy shit.

More Irish Noise on the TNA! Woo!
