Yūko Imada in an Californian based harsh noise/ambient project. So far he released three cds according to his myspace page. He decided to share two of his works with us. One ambient and one harsh noise hoho.

The harsh one:

It lasts about 20 minutes but nevertheless it's still good harsh noise mostly done like the Japanese do it. Screaming, screeching and all those lovely things with a bit of divergence from the usual non stop harshness that reminded me of that Bondage album Merzbow did.

01. Ume
02. Mari
03. Strawberry White Paper
04. Postcard
05. The Blue Sky
06. Nylon Rope
07. Non Wave
08. Tapes
09. Flowers of Flesh

Released on Zoom Lens.

The silent one:

Moon (untitled)

Personally I liked this one a lot more. First and foremost this is really relaxing and calm, no loud sounds it all kinda resonates somewhere from the distance. Quite an lovely atmosphere indeed. The only thing I didn't like is the length of the songs because they end a bit too soon, it would be great if they could be longer. Except that everything else is great! :3

01. Moonlight
02. 400,000 km
03. Sunsets/
04. /Sunrise
05. On Seeing
06. Naoko
07. Years Slipped Past

Released on Moribund Tree Records and also on Zoom Lens.
