This is the first album of my new project "Hypochondriosis" and this is an internet release so it can't be bought anywhere. Also I haven't managed to get a website yet. The music is a mix of ambient, noise and experimental electronics, at least I'd say it is.
An interesting mixture of ambient and loud noise. Lots of synth sounds and static noise.

Two relatively new releases from our friend Matthew Sochocki! We had his previous release called Black Throne posted some time ago along with an radio performance he did. This time he also sent us one of his newer full lengths and another live radio show with an extra edited track. In terms of sound I guess you could say it remained the same at its core but is now more polished and detailed. I especially liked the edited version of the radio show track, very atmospheric which is perfect for this stormy weather out here.
01. The Weakling (26:16)
01. Hail (live) (13:41)
02. Hail (the long march) (52:09)
Eerie ambient about, lighthouses. Well that's the general idea anyway. Sounds good for first release. The author also offered his remix versions of the album.

[1996 / Belgium / Wolrd Serpent]
"Oniro is an unearthly paradise of an album, combining powerful ambient drones and exotic, fragile rhythms. Interestingly enough, it in the way in which Yasnaïa uses her own voice to make it become a subtle, yet striking element of Oniro. Whispers, cries, chants, weeping made indistinguishable from laughter, and recitations of the poetry of William Blake are all echoed, distorted, or just generally manipulated to weave an ethereal and sometimes menacing air layered over mechanical spirals, sparse piano and flute, and metallic patches of melody. Oniro is music from another planet - one in which the listener is made to feel suspended fathoms beneath a cold sea - and wanting never to escape." (OEC)

[2008 / Australia / Twin Vision - CaTV]
After being hidden in time for about 25 years this industrial milestone of the infamous 1st generation got renovated extended and digitally overworked by CaTV. Cathy Vogan - Media Artist & Designer has been three times nominated for Video Art Award and received ZKM (Karlsuhe) Production Award for her work! A true statement and monument for the outstanding band S.P.K. who gathered together under so many names like: SoliPsiK, Selektiv Pornography Kontrol, Sozialistisches Patienten Kollektiv, System Planning Korporation just to name a few, and with this release a new name is created: "Schuldig an der Pervertierung der Kultur." Besides D.Guerin and CAT TV another member needs to be mentoined: K.OSMOSIS K. Osmosis is an active member of - possibly the new "Neil" (Ni/H/IL)! This brilliant young man suffers from Asperger's syndrome. He writes his solepsistic texts to the world from his Keller via his identical (mirror) twin brother, in-between paralyzing bouts of "stimming." K.O. is in the process of articulating a fresh, theoretical foundation for the Kollective SPK. Twin Vision, Cat TV and Tesco Germany presents the only group in industrial musics history that stands on the same level as Throbbing Gristle, for some even above. Influence to so many followers. The project ideal is to express the content of various psycho -pathalogical conditions, especially schizophrenia, manic - depressive psychosis, mental retardation and paranoia. Information Overload supersedes normal, rational thought structures, forcing deviation into less restrictive mental procedures of so-called 'mental illness.' SPK is trying to be a voice for those individuals condemned to the slow decay of mental hospitals and chemical/electro/surgical therapy, without fetishising them into blatant entertainment product. 'SONIC FOR MANICS' aims to be a vehicle for sharing mental experiences through sound. This DVD compiles material that marked the genesis of the group . The members at that time were known as Operator, Ne(H)il and Tone Generator. Like rare live moments of the bands, energetic performances covering music from "Leichenschrei" to "Information Overload," Live rehearsal footage from "Auto Dafe," slide shows, documentary and a filmed interview with Tone Generator aka Domink Guerin founding member and man behind Twin Vision.
This dvd is rated 18+, and for a reason, some footage on it is quite extreme, so let's try and keep the young ones away from this one =D

[2007 / Germany / Transgredient Record]
"AIWS" is the first full TROUM-CD since many years. It covers studio-recordings done from 2002-2005. TROUM selected their favourite pieces through these years to be placed on this album, all analoguely recorded on 4- & 8-track machines.
Presented are 9 tracks leading the listener through basic feelings of yearning, melancholy, and transcension.
The most emotional and profound Troum-album ever. Dedicated to eternity.
The ingredients: Sufi-songs & old vinyl-crackles, acoustic & e-guitars, e-bow, e-bass, voice & whispering, accordeon & flute.
Close rival for best Troum release, but I still give the edge to Sigqan since I'm fonder of single long compositions, nevertheless this release is probably the perfect introduction to, in my opinion, the best ambient drone band around.
This is the last Troum release I'm gonna post in a while, enjoy these and if you missed it, get their incredible live performance here.

[2003 / Germany / Desolation House / lim.1000]
Troum's creations are influenced by post-industrial, minimal and drone-music. Both members use guitars, bass, voices, accordion, gongs, metals, field recordings, pre-recorded-tapes and a diversity of sound-objects to build a kind of multi-layered and highly atmospheric music. Troum uses music as the direct path to the unconscious, searching for the archaic essence of the human being, of perception and emotion.
My favorite Troum release, extremely recommended!

2001 - Part One: Harmonies
First release on Troum's new label TRANSGREDIENT and first part of the Tjukurrpa-trilogy, aiming to show the different sides of Troum's organic & archaic dreamscapes. This part 1 is dedicated to "harmonies", containing seven yearnful & atmospheric tracks made by guitar, bass, accordion, voices and effects. Listen to dreaming beauty...
1. Wrota Sfer (16:35)
2. Licht-Brandung (7:03)
3. Gluoen (7:11)
4. Skaun[ei]s (7:44)
5. Zayin (6:55)
6. Mada Shaunda (5:57)
7. Mirrored In You (Dedicated To Martyn Bates) (10:23)
“This part two is dedicated to "drones", presenting five highly atmospheric and droning tracks ranging from minimal to monumental sounds, from dark ambient to more ritualistic areas: these are drones to loose your rational mind in.. The music on Tjukurrpa II is made by loops based on metal-sounds, percussion & other more obscure sources, as well as mouth-organ, choirs, guitars, and effects.”
1. Scurphen (15:35)
2. Dhren (12:04)
3. Trahan (8:57)
4. Afgod (14:23)
5. Tiefenrausch (10:30)
Dronecore. This is the third part in TROUMs Tjukurrpa-trilogy, following part 1 (harmonies) and part 2 (drones). This final part is dedicated to “rhythms” and “pulsations”, with a focus on rhythmic, pounding, looping & repetitive elements and structures.
With TJUKURRPA 3, TROUM shows a not so well known side, using the trance-power of repetitive textures. In every of the seven extensive tracks (playtime 66+ min) rhythms in various moods build the basis: from smooth ambience-pulsations over ritualistic surroundings up to ecstatic pounding harshness, from underneath & soft pulsative patterns up to evolving harsh & overwhelming rhythmic loops. The music on Tjukurrpa III is made by raw & processed loops & handplayed percussion, along with electric guitar & bass, balalaika, mouth organ, male & female human voice, flute, and accordeon. No samplers, synths or computers used.

"...This is not music to be dipped into ad hoc. This is music of the spheres, to be savoured and enjoyed as a total, immersive experience where the golden washes of sound and exquisite drones are given free reign to envelope the listener and, as if by seduction, draw you deep into Troum’s strange and magical world of dreams..."
