Einstürzende Neubauten - Kollaps

>> Sunday, September 7, 2008

"Einstürzende Neubauten's first album, as one might imagine, is their most primitive and radical effort, the purest expression of their original aesthetic. This makes the album both historically significant and conceptually intriguing, of course, but what's most interesting about this album is that it still sounds surprising decades after its release."

Hi,
Thanks for posting this, you know I really don`t know what happened to these guys. I think they must have gotten bored with the whole industrial sound. The new albums all sound like bad pop, and or rock music. This of course is the early material and the best, naturally.

It´s called evolution - I think it´s really hard to avoid getting better with your instruments & still keeping this "improvement" out of your soudn - but in my opinion they aged with grace - unlike for instance TG ...
so thanx for a great album by a great band
