for those who are not sure yet, i've added on Discogs the scan of a flyer that gives a good idea of AWB/Terre Blanche political orientation: http://www.discogs.com/label/AWB+Recording

Tristan, was that your flyer? I've got a minimal collection that I hope to get scanned sometime...

yes this is my flyer, i found it a few weeks ago in my archives and immediately thought about those who say AWB/Terre Blanche were not true fascists...

Hah, I've never heard anyone say that Stateside! I think we were a little more serious about the extreme politics than a lot of European PE outfits, who seemed to just be playing around with it for shock value.

"we were" : who is that "we" ?
and what do you mean by "serious" ?
just curious...

By "we" I mean the extreme electronics scene in the USA at that time (1980s). By "serious" I mean precisely that: real fascist/NAZI/whatever as opposed to just pretending in order to shock people. I was around for all of this at the time and can vouch for the attitude of many of the American PE acts... Rough stuff that most people would find offensive for real. Fortunately, those who listen to PE are accustomed to such extreme statements and the politics now seem dated and almost quaint.

Be seeing you.
